In South Cinema or even Indian Cinema, if there is any movie that has the potentiality to beat Baahubali in scale, vision and execution, then it is Rajni and Shankar's 2.0. Many Tamil and Telugu people are eagerly waiting for the release of the movie. The combination who gave Shivaji and Robo are coming back with this movie and also, 2.0 being a sequel to highly successful Robo is also a special attraction to this movie.
Recently, the rumours of postponement of the movie have surfaced on social media and many film lovers got disappointed with the news. VFX work of the movie will take even longer time than what producers felt it would take and also few scenes will be re-shot has been the crux of the rumours. But the makers have come out and said, the movie will not be postponed further and it will release on-time for 25th of January, 2018 for sure.
The movie is said to be made on a budget more than 300 crores and as it is a science fiction Shankar's imagination could go as wild as any of our imagination. We are hyped about the movie and waiting for it eagerly. In the movie, Akshay Kumar is acting as a villain and Amy Jackson as the leading lady. The shoot will be completed soon and VFX work is going at full force in different countries. Lyca Productions is bankrolling the project.
