Rajamouli's 'RRR' is one of the biggest openers of 2022 in the Hindi belt. It bagged an opening day collection of 20 crores nett while 'KGF – 2' sits on top comfortably with 54 crores on its first day. Considering the form of Bollywood films, Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming release 'Brahmastra' is not aiming to break 'KGF – 2' record but it is planning to overtake the opening day collections of 'RRR'.

With the advance bookings and pre-sales fetching good numbers, team of 'Brahmastra' is getting a lot of positive signs. The Hindi audience are showing interest in spending their money on this fantasy film and all it needs to do is to get a positive talk. While the movie may even break the lifetime collections of 'RRR' in the Hindi belt, the team of 'Brahmastra' are not thinking about it and are only focusing on getting good collections on its first day which lays a perfect platform.

The censor formalities have been completed and it was given a U/A certificate by the board. The movie is reportedly 167 minutes long which means it is just thirteen minutes away from touching the 3-hour mark. We need to wait and see how things turn out for 'Brahmastra' which is one of the costliest films made in Bollywood.

'Brahmastra' has a stellar ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni. It is Rajamouli who is presenting the film in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as Shiva while Alia Bhatt is going to play the role of Isha. The real-life couple's chemistry onscreen will be one of this film's biggest highlights as per reports. Directed by Ayan Mukherji, this film is coming out on 9th September.
