'Saaho' Director Confident On Working With Prabhas Again!
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 July 2021 5:42 AM GMTMany young directors came to Tollywood but none of them witnessed such a huge growth with just one film like Sujeeth did. The young director made a stellar debut with 'Run Raja Run' which was a huge hit in 2014. Made under UV Creations banner, this film featuring Sharwanand in the lead got a lot of appreciation. He convinced Prabhas immediately for his second film which raised the eyebrows of many.
Despite becoming a pan-Indian hero after 'Baahubali', Prabhas kept his word and worked with Sujeeth on a massive action film titled 'Saaho'. Sujeeth too waited for Prabhas patiently for nearly 3 years and the project was made on a grand scale with over 200 crores budget. While he made his first film within a budget of 20 crores, his second film cost 10 times than his first. Despite his lack of experience, Sujeeth managed to pull off a decent action movie with a lot of style quotient.
Sadly, the film failed to get a unanimous positive talk and ended up as an average venture. Despite the verdict, both Prabhas and Sujeeth stayed on good terms and speaking about it in a recent talk show hosted by Tharun Bhasker, the 'Saaho' director explained that Prabhas still believes in him. He said, 'If I call him up now and ask him to do a movie, he will not say no to me.'
While it is difficult for many filmmakers to convince Prabhas, Sujeeth claimed that it is an easy talk for him as the Baahubali star is just a phone call away from him. He claimed, 'This is the kind of trust Prabhas has in me.' While this is quite touching, there is no clarity on Sujeeth's upcoming project. He was linked to the remake of 'Lucifer' which Megastar Chiranjeevi is doing right now with another director. He is expected to work with another star hero in the coming days under the same UV Productions banner but nothing has been confirmed yet. Sujeeth became a director at a very young age and critics claim that he is one of most promising talents.
