Sachin Tendulkar organised a special screening of his biopic 'Sachin A Billion Dreams' for the Indian Armed Forces at the Indian Air Force Auditorium.
Notably, Sachin was honoured with the position of Group Captain by Indian Armed Forces for his services to the Nation. So, The Master Blaster thought it would be nice on his part to held the screening of his biopic for the Army Personnel.
Indian Army, Indian Air Force & Indian Navy personnel attended the special screening of 'Sachin A Billion Dreams' along with their Families. Sachin's Life Partner Anjali was present at the screening. The former cricketer greeted the Army Personnel and accepted the memento gifted by Air Chief Marshal Dhanoa. Chants of 'Sachin Sachin' were heard in the Auditorium and there was a standing ovation as well.
Air Chief Marshal Dhanoa: 'The biopic is wonderful and really inspiring. We all were overjoyed when India had beaten Pakistan in 1999 World Cup as there was a war-like situation between both nations at that time. May 26th release…This day has got a good significance. It was on this day Air Operations commenced during the Kargil war'.
