In Tollywood, if there is an option of playing any kind of King and mythological roles, Nandamuri Balakrishna comes forward for them without any second thoughts.
As his father, Legend NTR, played the role of legendary Kings like Sri Krishna Devaraya, many times in his career. NBK also did the same in Aditya 369 and expressed his desire to play the character in a full fledged film, some day.
Before him, Sai Dharam Tej seems to be grabbing that opportunity. As the hero, made it a habit to work with all the out of form directors, he chose to star in yet another such director's film, it seems.
Veeru Potla, who gained huge name as a writer, failed to transfer it to his directorials too. He started off Bindaas and Ragada, but then his Doosukeltha and Eedu Gold Ehe, have been flops.
After Ragada, in 8 years, he did not score one hit but for Sai Dharam Tej, he came up with a story that happens in Sri Krishna Devaraya period it seems.
