Sai Korrapati has achieved recognition as a tasteful producer with films like 'Eega'.. 'Andala Rakshasi'.. 'Oohalu Gusagusalade'.. 'Legend'. In a way, he has achieved good credibility as a producer like Dil Raju. But he is going through a lean phase for the last two years.
Even though his films are reflecting his taste, they are not giving him the much needed commercial success. Last year releases 'Raja Cheyyi Veste'.. 'Manamantha' turned out to be flops. 'Jyo Achyutanananda' had a decent run at the box office but the movie didn't fetch him considerable profits. 'Rendu Rella Aaru'..'Patel SIR' released under Vaaraahi banner this year and both the films ended up as disasters at the box office.
Sai Korrapati's latest production 'Yuddham Sharanam' is hitting the screens tomorrow. He has pinned all his hopes on this film. This is a medium budget film from Vaaraahi banner, unlike his last few films which are small budget flicks. Chaitu's last two films are box office hits so the film is carrying positive buzz. But the promos appear to be routine. We have to wait and see how 'Yuddham Sharanam' fares at the box office. If the movie disappoints, it will be a big blow to Sai Korrapati. It'll take a long time for him to recover.
