Highly talented actress Sai Pallavi is currently busy promoting her upcoming release 'Virataparvam'. The movie is hitting the screens on 17th June and she is attending game shows, giving interviews to media channels and even came to multiple pre-release events of this movie. She has an immense craze among youth because of her simple looks, splendid performances and scintillating dance moves.

She is being referred as lady Power Star which explains volumes about the love she gets from the public. Right from the beginning of her career, she never picked glamour roles and did films that proves her calibre as an artist. While speaking in the famous 'Open Heart With RK' show, the actress opened up about not wearing revealing outfits in movies.

She stated that she arrived from a traditional family where her family is a central government employee and she also has a younger sister. She said that they used to play tennis and badminton at home in comfortable clothes since childhood. She added, "But after entering the film industry, an incident made me decide not to wear skimpy outfits in films. When I went to Georgia to pursue my academics, I learnt Tango dance. You need to wear special costumes in order to learn the Tango dance. I told my parents the same and with their permission and after I felt comfortable in those costumes, I started learning that dance form."

She said, "After a few months, I got a chance to act in Premam. After the film's release, my Tango dance video went viral on social media. The comments made by the netizens on that video made me uncomfortable. That's when I decided not to wear any skimpy outfits in films."

Coming back to 'Virataparvam', Rana plays the role of Comrade Ravanna in this movie which is inspired by the true events of the 1990s. He writes poetry in this film and his pen name is Aranya. Sai Pallavi plays the role of Vennela who is a big admirer of Ravanna's poetry.

The film also has an amazing star cast comprising Priyamani, Nanditha Das, Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Eswari Rao, Sai Chand, Benarji, Nagineedu, Rahul Ramakrishna, Devi Prasad and others. Dani Sanchez Lopez is the cinematographer along with Divakar Mani. Suresh Bobbili scored the music and Raju Sundaram is the choreographer while Stephen Richard along with Peter Hein composed the fights. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Suresh Babu, Venu Udugula made this film with a Naxalite backdrop.
