Sai Pallavi, acted in this movie as the lead, but she bagged comments like, 'she doesn't fit in such films' and 'this character is too simple for her capabilities', from critics.
The movie did not receive much praise from viewers as many said that they expected much more from Nani-Sai Pallavi-Bhoomika combination.
Few directors, indirectly and directly, asked Nani to check his script choices and improve on them, as they expect more from him.
In a media interaction, Sai Pallavi, had to face questions about MCA and she said, "Many said I did not try any commercial films. So, I did MCA and I understood what kind of films, I should be doing in my career, going further."
