Sakshyam Business: True Or Exaggeration?

Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas is doing big budget films and teaming up with star directors right from the beginning of his career. This may be because of the backup of his father.. or may be he is lucky. Though he doesn't have the image as a hero.. his films are carrying good buzz. Srinivas' upcoming film 'Saakshyam' is also carrying good hype. The recently released trailer.. audio is receiving a good response.
The movie is slated for the release on July 27. The is talk in the film circles that 'Saakshyam' did a pre-release business of Rs. 40 crores. Considering the market of Srinivas, it is a huge amount. It is interesting to see whether its real figure or an exaggerated one. Leading distributors in Nizam Abhishek Nama is the producer of this film. Another top producer Dil Raju reportedly acquired the theatrical rights for the Nizam area for whopping Rs.7 crores. Even Ravi Teja films don't command this price in Nizam area. So, it is surprising to see a shrewd businessman like Dil Raju acquiring 'Saakshyam' rights for Rs.7 crores.
Whether Dil Raju impressed with the content and invested high amount or the producers are exaggerating the amounts to create a hype is yet to be known. Sriwass is the director of 'Saakshyam'.. Pooja Hegde is the heroine. Jagapathi Babu is playing a baddie in the film.
