Salman failed to beat Baahubali again

Bollywood's top star Salman Khan fans are eagerly waiting for the star to beat the records of "Baahubali". As the film released on Diwali eve, trade pundits have confirmed that Bhai's latest movie "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" failed to beat Day 1 record of "Baahubali".

On it's releasing day, Baahubali collected an whopping 42.1 crores 'nett' from box office including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi versions. That has beaten the collection of Shah Rukh's Happy New Year that made 37 crores nett from all versions. To beat this record, Salman's films have competed twice but failed on two occasions. While Bajrangi Bhaijan made 27 Crores nett on Day 1, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo made 41+ crores 'nett' on Opening Day. That makes Baahubali records go untouched.
