Ali Abbas Zafar has helmed the project in which Katrina Kaif and Disha Patani played the leads. As expected the movie opened with a massive collections at the box office on the first day itself.
Justifying the title, the movie is about Bharat with his mother and younger sister gets apart with his father and elder sister because of 1947 India Pakistan partition. He tries to find the details of his father and sister so many times but failed to do so. Bharath makes a living by doing different kinds of jobs. Can he succeed in finding the details of his father and her sister forms the rest of the story. Also there is also a love track between Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.
Touted to be the remake of South Korean movie 'Ode to my father', 'Bharat' director Ali Abbas Zafar has made some changes and made the movie as an emotional journey. Though there are some scenes which will give goosebumps for Salman Khan fans, it is evident that the director has focused more on Salman Khan's image than the screenplay of the film. Salman Khan fans will enjoy the film. Some scenes will actually test the patience of the audience.
The lavish production values, outstanding songs and Salman Khan's excellent performance can be considered as the major plus points of the film. Katrina Kaif got a decent role in the film but Disha patani appeared only in a couple of scenes. Only for few characters will be registered and most of the actors are left unrecognised.
The director tried to showcase the journey of Bharat in finding his father but there are some scenes that will that are not relatable to the audience. However, when compared to Salman Khan's previous releases 'Race 3', 'Tubelight' etc, we can say that 'Bharat' is a decent film and Salman Khan's fans can really enjoy the film.
