By: Tupaki Desk | 31 March 2020 2:15 PM GMTBollywood Bhaijaan Salman Khan will always be in the fore front to help the needy. He is one actor who even owns a charity organization named 'Being Human'. It is a known fact that 70% profits of whatever Being Human brand produces and sells in the market will be used towards charity. Earlier there were many reports on the charity works of this superstar.
Now, amid the Corona pandemic lock down in India, Salman Khan asked the officials of his charity organization 'Being Human' to trace the needy daily wage laborers of Bollywood Cinema in and around Mumbai. The officials said that there are about 5 Lakh laborers in the daily workers union and at present the needy with no food are at least 25000 people said as per the survey of Being Human officials.
Salman then decided to collect the bank account details of those 25000 laborers and decided to donate Rs 250 per day to all these 25000 families for these 21 days which would account to nearly 13.2 Crores approximately.
Salman Khan didn't want to tie-up with any government or political organization to do his bit as he owns a charity organization at hand. Moreover, he didn't want any middlemen when serving the needy and thus asked his team to go for direct cash transfer into their bank accounts.
