Salman Khan hasn't been able to prove himself as a brilliant actor but as a star he is miles ahead from his competition.
He did be a part of box office successes but in none of them, his acting won him laurels. Whenever he tried to be an actor, his films failed at the box office.
Now, he is trying another film where he is looking to be an actor more than the star. He is trying something like Raj Kapoor's Mera Naam Joker that talks about protagonist's journey of life than anything else.
In his latest Eid offering, Salman will play Bharat, a man who works at circus and then looks to find a job at oil mining and coal mining fields.
He later joins Navy and he is man who survived partition trauma after being pushed from his hometown to a new country.
As an old man, in 2010, he reveals the stories of his past which is an Ode to his Father. Actually, movie is a remake of a Korean film of same name.
Katrina Kaif is acting as an incharge at coal mining field and Disha Patani is acting as a dancer at the circus. Abbas Ali Zafar directed the film.
Movie is releasing on 5th June and we have to wait and see, if this experiment will work for Salman Khan?!
