Samantha & Naga Chaitanya Taking The Same Journey!

Akkineni hero Naga Chaitanya and star heroine Samantha Ruth Prabhu got divorced a few months back and have gone their separate ways. After their split, both of them became busy with their respective projects but it looks like they going down the same path.
As we know, Samantha is taking up more bilinguals and pan-Indian projects. Her 'Shaakunthalam' and 'Yashoda' will be released in multiple languages. Her romantic comedy with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara will be released in both Telugu and Tamil. She is working on a Hindi web series right now.
Interestingly, Naga Chaitanya is taking the same route. He scored good commercial hits like 'Love Story' and 'Bangarraju' in the past few months. He accepted a bilingual project with Tamil director Venkat Prabhu. Tentatively titled 'NC22', it is not a remake of 'Maanadu' and it is an interesting film that will be produced by Sinivasaa Chitturi.
After that, he is also working on 'Thank You' which is a romantic comedy. He is a part of Aamir Khan's huge project 'Laal Singh Chadda' which will release in August or September. He is also in talks with an OTT platform for a web series. Experts say that Chaitanya is aiming to expand his market on a national level just like Samantha did.
Coming to NC22, this project is going to mark Venkat Prabu's debut in Telugu and more details regarding the crew will be revealed in the coming days. Pooja Hegde is expected to play the female lead in this movie.
