Samantha Bags A Prestigious Award For 'Family Man'!

Talented star actress Samantha Akkineni took a huge risk by playing a bold and negative character named 'Raji' in popular Hindi web series 'Family Man'. The second season of 'Family Man' was well-received by the audience and critics and it got a record number of views as per Amazon Prime officials. Manoj Bajpayee's lead role was amazing but it was Samantha's character that created a sensation.
While the character was very well written and portrayed terrifically by Samantha, a lot of Tamil associations criticised the makers and actors for it. Nonetheless, Samantha is enjoying the success and she has been awarded the 'Best Performance Female' at the Indian Film Festival Of Melbourne 2021. The actress took to social media and expressed her happiness as she wrote, "Thank you so much for this award…this is truly truly special .. Thank you @rajndk for all the faith and the support.. #Raji."
Earlier, IFFM tweeted, "BEST PERFORMANCE FEMALE (SERIES) CONGRATULATIONS TO Samantha Akkineni for THE FAMILY MAN S2 @Samanthaprabhu2 #TheFamilyMan2." Samantha truly delivered her career best performance in 'Family Man'. Currently, Samantha is playing the lead in Gunasekhar's mythological drama 'Shaakunthalam' and she is also awaiting the release of her Tamil under the direction of Vignesh Shivan.
