Samantha set the screens on fire with her sensational glamour feast in the item song in Allu Arjun's Pushpa. Many expected Samantha to put on a fine show in the song but she exceeded everyone's expectations with her absolutely scorching show. In fact, Samantha's glamour dose left many surprised. Such was the degree of the skin show put on by the star actress who recently announced separation from Naga Chaitanya. Of late, there have been several speculations pertaining to Samantha's idea behind starring in the item song in Pushpa. Now, the actress herself has opened up about starring in the song and she says "being sexy is hard" and it indeed is.

"I played good , i played bad, i was funny , i was serious, i was a chat show host too.. i work really hard to excel at everything that I take up ...but being sexy is next level hard work....phew #ooantavaooooantava Thank you for the love," Samantha wrote as she shared a snap of the famous Oo Antava song from Pushpa. She is seen striking a red-hot pose in the snap and there is fair deal of oomph attached to the photo.

"This is an @alluarjunonline appreciation post !! A performance that just keeps you hooked .. every second was 🔥🔥 I am always always inspired when an actor is just so good that it is impossible to look away .. @alluarjunonline was that for me in #Pushpa .. from the accent to the one side drooping shoulder and that god damn SWAG …. 🙏🙏🙏 Phew .. absolutely stunning .. truly truly inspired," Samantha had previously shared on her official social media handles as she appeared to be in awe of Allu Arjun's performance in Pushpa: The Rise. Now, she has opened up about featuring in the item song in Pushpa.

Sukumar had previously revealed that Samantha was initially reluctant to come on board for the item song and he then had to persuade her into doing it. Samantha did the item song purely out of the respect she had towards Sukumar. There is a philosophical value to the song and the lyrics had created a sensation of sorts.
