Samantha and Naga Chaitanya announced their separation as wife and husband on Saturday. The announcement had kept an end to the speculations on the personal life of the couple. After the announcement, Samantha had changed her social media profile names.
Post her marriage, Samantha had changed her social media account name to Samantha Akkineni. Later, she changed it to 'S'. This made her fans and followers speculate that things might be not going well between the couple. However, the couple remained tight-lipped on the issue.
The Actress had changed the profile name to Samantha and Samantha Ruth Prabhu official for Microblogging Site Twitter and Video sharing app Instagram respectively. The other day, Samantha's profile name was Samantha Ruth Prabhu official. However, the profile name was changed once again.
Samantha and Naga Chaitanya tied the knot in 2017. They took their relationship to the next level by entering the marriage stage. However, their marriage life did not last too long with the couple calling quits four years after their marriage.
Announcing that they are divorcing, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya have requested one and all to respect their decision and give their privacy is the issue and thanked in advance for this.
"To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during the difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support," they said in the statement.
