Samantha Confirmed To Appear In Manmadhudu-2?

Earlier we did state that Samantha Akkineni is going to star in her close friend, Rahul Ravindran's directorial Manmadhudu-2 with her father-in-law, Nagarjuna.
The movie shoot has started recently and the cast seemed to be big for a film that will continue the premise of Manmadhudu, which was a love story that had two strong lead characters and very less supporting characters.
But Samantha will be an addition to the cast and she has a different role in the movie, it seems.
She won't romance the lead character but she will provide a twist in the story that will change the entire premise, it seems.
Rakul Preet Singh is acting as the leading lady and Samantha almost confirmed her dates, it seems. Nagarjuna is producing the film with Gemini Kiran on Annapurna Studios and Anandi Art Creations.
