Samantha Becomes The "Million Dollor Actress"

Samantha Akkineni has achieved rare feet of 13 Million USD earnings in US market with all her South Indian films.
First South Indian film, to earn one million dollars is also her film, Dookudu. After that, her films, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, 24, Theri, Manam, Eega, Mersal, Brahmostavam, Janatha Garage, Attharintiki Daredi, S/O Satyamurthy, A..Aa and now, Rangasthalam made it to the Million Dollar club.
The fans of the actress started trending #MillionDollorBaby on social media and she is the Top Million Dollar actress as even actors do not have such successful record in US.
Well, what is the reason behind her success? The actress in an interview attributed her success to the clever choices she took with content in mind than top bills.
She said, "If I have to choose between two big films with bigger pay checks and a small film with less remuneration, I would prefer the second one.
"I am just saying it. I did this for Eega. At first, Eega was an experimental film and I was asked for bulk dates with lesser remuneration. While on the other hand, two big production houses were ready to give me huge remuneration for the two films.
"I chose Eega, trusting the storty and it was a huge risk, if that movie failed to connect with audience, I would have lost on many opportunities in my career too," said the actress.
So, content is better than quantity for her. That made her the Million Dollar actress and with Rangasthalam entering 3 Million USD club, she became the first actress to have one million dollars, two million dollars and three milion dollars films from one language.
