Samantha Avoids Annapurna Studios

During the promotions of the movie U-Turn, Samantha Akkineni hinted about making her debut as a producer in Tollywood. Though there is this rumor since the time she entered the Akkineni family, the actress opened up about the same only recently. She made some valid statements that really made sense and strengthened her vision as becoming a producer.
The actress revealed that she wanted to become a producer and added that she will not waste other's money for the same. "I wanted to produce movies but I won't be doing it under Annapurna Studios and Manam Entertainments. I will invest my own money to produce films. One day, I will see my name on the screen as a producer." said Samantha by confirming that she has the freedom of taking her own decisions in the family.
Samantha just not want to produce the movies for doing sake but she has a goal. "I will produce movies to encourage new talent. There are a few proposals regarding the same but I am unsure about turning producer. I started a new journey as an actress with the films like U-Turn and Raju Gari Gadhi 2. I want to enjoy this phase for a few days." said the actress.
Her latest film U-Turn is doing well at the box office. In three days, the movie collected a share of 0.82 crores in Nizam area alone. Directed by Pawan Kumar, U-Turn is the official remake of the Kannada movie.
