Samantha is now a Mahbubnagar Voter

Its an another case of faux pas that shows how efficient our officials who issue voter ID Cards have been.

A voter card has been issued for Samantha in Mahbubnagar even though she isn't a native of this district. G Maheshwari, a local voter, got the shock of her life when she found the photograph of Samantha on her voter slip. The woman now fears she might not bbe able to exercise her right to vote in upcoming elections.

District collector M Girija Shankar assured stringent action will be taken against the officials who are negligent and the mistakes will be rectified.
