Samantha Maintains Her Distance From Promotions!

Samantha Akkineni's maiden web series 'Family Man 2' is all set to be streamed online from June 4th on Amazon Prime Video. The team organized a lot of promotional events and gave a lot of interviews. It is being promoted national wide and Samantha actively participated in a lot of Hindi interviews and candid chats.
But she decided to stay away from promotions from now on as per the suggestion of the makers. As we know, Samantha will be seen playing the role of an LTTE terrorist in this web series and a lot of Tamilians are angry about the fact that they projected people who fought for Tamil rights as terrorists. Since Samantha is a Tamilian herself, a few Tamil associations are criticizing her and she is facing a lot of heat on social media too.
A few of them even asked the government to ban this series. As it is not a very good time to be visible in the public eye, the makers asked Samantha to maintain a low profile. Samantha worked very hard for this series and it may be her big-ticket to Bollywood. If the second season becomes successful, we can see Samantha coming in front of the media again.
