As the rumours in circulation, Samantha will be contesting next election on TRS ticket against Actress Jayasudha in Secunderabad Assembly Constituency.
In 2009 Polls, YSR fielded Jayasudha as Congress Candidate in Secunderabad Assembly Constituency against TDP's Talasani Srinivas Yadav because the segment was dominated by Christians. As Samantha too is a Christian, This move might work in favour of the TRS Party.
If she really wishes to enter politics, Obtaining an MLA Ticket won't be a big deal for Samantha as she is maintaining good relations with TRS Leadership since few years. But, Such a possibility looks bleak as none from Akkineni Family were interested in politics.
