Wrong Timing For Samantha's 'Oh Baby'?
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 July 2019 6:32 AM GMTSamantha Akkineni has been grabbing the attention with the finest performances in her movies. After 'Majili', Sam has scored another hit with 'Oh Baby' movie directed by Nandini Reddy.
Though the story and Sam's performance is flawless, some are saying that the release timing is not that good. It is known that Mahesh's 'Maharshi' movie hit the screens on May 9th as there was no other release, the movie has kept the collections ringing at the box office. If Samantha could have released 'Oh Baby' two weeks after 'Maharshi', then there would have been a huge increase in collections. All the schools and colleges are reopened now and also the frequent rains are stopping most of the people to come out of their houses. So, despite getting a huge positive word of mouth, the collections are just average. Producer Suresh Babu who takes care of each and everything about the films from storyline to direction might miss out the correct timing for the release.
On the other hand, 'Oh Baby' which is the Telugu remake of South Korean movie, 'Miss Granny' featured Rajendra Prasad, Naga Shourya, Rao Ramesh, Teja, Jagapathi Babu, Pragathi etc in crucial roles.
