Samantha Pairs Up With Varun Dhawan For A Spy Series!

Star actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is surely having the time of her life on the professional front. She won her 5th Filmfare award for her performance in the Hindi web series 'Family Man 2' and she recently did a special song in 'Pushpa' and it became a chartbuster. Her big-budget mythological Telugu drama 'Shaakunthalam' is in the post-production stage while she is also acting in another interesting project titled 'Yashoda'. As it is known, she is also a part of the Tamil film 'Kaathuvula Rendu Kaadhal' directed by Vignesh Shivan.
She got a lot of craze after 'Family Man 2' and she recently signed a film under Tapsee's production banner. Apart from that, Samantha seems to have landed in a huge web series. Russo Brothers who are known for Marvel's 'Avengers' films are making 'Citadel' which is a spy thriller series. Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra are playing the leads. They decided to make an Indian version to it and Varun Tej was roped in as the male lead. Raj & DK who created 'Family Man' series will be directing the Indian version and it will be released in Amazon Prime Video.
Apparently, the role of female lead fell into the lap of Samantha and the actress accepted it without any hesitation. This spy series is getting a lot of attention and bringing Samantha onboard is going to be a huge plus for the team. The shooting will commence from 2022 and there will be a lot of action episodes in this series. This is Samantha's second collaboration with Raj & DK while she will be working with Varun Dhawan for the first time. This series will be released in 2023.
