Samantha Planned To Have A Baby With Chay

Samantha was apparently planning to start a family with Naga Chaitanya, as we had reported earlier. "We as an industry are currently baffled with the speculations going around about Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya. As an actress, everyone knows she is very family-oriented. She actually wanted to start a family with Chaitanya and she didn't sign any project or read scripts for the same reason. The family has always been her priority and she wanted to balance it to start a family. Her friends, producers, actors, everyone who knows Samantha know how important her family is to her," a report from Pinkvilla a month or so ago read. It was implied that Samantha was planning to settle down with Chay and start a family with the latter in the days to come. But that wasn't to be and ChaySam announced divorce a few days ago. They are no longer together and have been living separately for the past 4 months or so. Samantha is staying at the plush restaurant she and Chaitanya had acquired ahead ot their marriage. Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya is currently in search of a new plush residential property in Hyderabad.
Now, Neelima guna, who produced Samantha's Shakunthalam made some very interesting comments on the latter and also about her marital life with Naga Chaitanya. "Samantha was planning to have a baby with Naga Chaitanya. She was even making necessary arrangements to her schedules to accommodate the same. She told us that becoming a mother was of top priority for her at the moment. So, she was a bit skeptical about signing our project as well. She came on board only after we assured her we would complete the project at a brisk pace. She wanted to have family, take a break from acting and spend some quality time with her family. So, we planned our shooting schedules in such a way that Samantha's portion will be wrapped up at the earliest," she said.
Neelima's comments about Samantha and also her marital life give a new perspective to the entire saga. But what is done is done. Samantha and Naga Chaitanya are no longer together.
