Legendary actress Savitri is the all time favourite of Telugu audience. When a biopic is made on her, obviously it grabs limelight. Speculations apart, film makers of 'Mahanati' released a poster on the occasion of Women's Day. Keerthy Suresh photo on the left and Samantha photo on the right.. Savitri photograph in the middle.. it was really interesting.
Even though the poster was interesting, there was a doubt in the minds of audience that which role Samantha is playing in Mahanati. Keerthy Suresh has already revealed in her earlier interviews that she is going to play Savitri role. According to the buzz from the Film Nagar, Samantha going to shock the audience with her role. She is playing the role of yesteryear heroine Jamuna in the film. Keerthy..Samantha roles will be competitive in the film. The reason being.. Savitri and Jamuna said to have differences with each other in real life.
They used to be close friends initially but they had parted ways after differences cropped up. Jamuna announced openly that she will not act in a movie which features Savitri. The film makers said to be showing these differences on the silver screen. So.. get ready for Samantha shock.
