Akkineni Samantha opened up about the cyber crimes while promoting her flick 'Abhimanyudu' (Irumbu Thirai in Tamil) during a recent interview. This Vishal-starrer discusses the evil side of Social Media and how it's affecting the lives of all walks of people.
During the candid talk, Samantha made it clear she hasn't faced any bad experiences with regard to the cyber crimes but informs how her friends were troubled. 'Whenever My Friends used to plan any trip, They used to end up receiving SMSes suggesting some cheap hotels and tickets. Which indicates, Somebody kept monitoring their every move. Though being active on Social Media has become a must these days, Everyone need to be very careful while using the platform,' she believes.
Samantha feels 'Abhimanyudu' will create awareness among public over the Social Media crimes. She is all praise for Director Mithran's conviction and command on the craft. This could be another good project for Sam after 'Rangasthalam' and 'Mahanati' looking at her confidence levels.
