When Samantha turned Model for Pocket Money?

Samantha is just alike any other middle-class girl of her age until 'Ye Maya Chesave' came her way. Its the need for money made her what she is Today!
When quizzed how did she end up getting into the glamour field, Samantha revealed, "A birthday party changed my life completely. When I went for the birthday bash of one of my friends, Someone took my photograph and it appeared in a daily the very next day. Upon seeing it, A Chennai-based Businessman approached Me with a modeling assignment to promote his Cloth Store. I had turned into a model just for pocket money. Later, I bagged my first flick 'Kurraloy Kurralu' through Cinematographer Ravi Varman. But, 'Ye Maya Chesave' released first and made me a star overnight. Gautham Menon has the knack of showing the Actresses so beautiful and that worked for me big time. I have just followed the instructions of Gautham sir while playing Jessi. Youthful Love Story, AR Rahman's Tunes and Calibre of Gautham Menon made my debut a huge success".
Samantha isn't in a hurry to sign more films and wants to take it slowly. She might even get married by the end of 2016 but wishes to continue acting.
