The craze for south movies has increased greatly in Bollywood. Thanks to YouTube, almost all about Telugu movies are getting dubbed in Hindi. In the past, the makers approach for the dubbing rights after the release of the movie. But now they are giving advances even before the release.
The demand for Tollywood mass masala action entertainers is high in Bollywood and the Dubbing rights for such movies will be up to 2 crores whereas the family entertainers can get 1 crore. Recently Samantha is playing the role of an investigative journalist in her upcoming movie U Turn which is coming out as the remake of Kannada movie with the same title. As per the latest talk, the makers paid huge amounts for the remake rights. If the buzz is to be believed, then the makers have paid 2.10 crores. This is more than the amount which the movie of medium range Hero gets.
