A Huge Risky Box Office U-Turn!

Samantha Akkineni said that she was careful in planning out the budget of her next release, U-Turn as she wanted it to be a commercial success.
The trade talk is that the movie could be a huge risky blind U-Turn for distributors and buyers.
The movie was supposed to release on 13th September after Shailaja Reddy Alludu completed 2 weeks run and against another multiplex film, Nannu Dochukunduvate.
Cleverly, Sudheer Babu could push his ND to 21st but Samantha couldn't as the producers of her film made it a bilingual. In Tamil Nadu, dates are not that freely available, due to 45 day strike.
As per the reports, U-Turn needs to collect good Rs. 13 crores from both Telugu and Tamil versions. Producers sold Tamil version for 3 crores, so Telugu needs to collect close to 10 crores to make profit.
With a limited appeal genre, thriller, it is a huge risky amount say, trade pundits. Also, Maruthi brand comedy if works out can prove heavy on U-Turn as he has family and youth audience support for sure. Let's wait and watch.
