Sam, Sincerity Go Hand In Hand

Samantha is going to become an Akkineni family member soon by marrying Naga Chaitanya. She is not just a star heroine but she is the brand ambassador for Handlooms in Telangana State. Unlike other celebrities who just treat it as a status symbol, Samantha is sincerely promoting handlooms right from the beginning. Whenever she attends fashion shows she is wearing handloom clothes.
Samantha has recently visited Dubbaka Handloom Co-operative Society in Siddipet district. She has appreciated the craftsmanship of the workers but she opined that youngsters are not using handlooms because they not getting handloom dresses which suit their tastes. Even though handloom workers have a wonderful skill, all the clothes are in old look. She felt that that's the reason why we couldn't export handloom clothes to foreign countries even though there is good demand. She said that she will request the government to train the handloom workers to design the clothes according to the latest trend. Majority of the handloom workers are doing other jobs for their livelihood.. they will come back to handlooms once the demand raises for handloom clothes.
It is known that Samantha-Chaitu marriage scheduled in October. She is busy attending the shootings of her upcoming films. But still, she squeezed time out of the busy schedule for handloom promotion. It shows her sincerity towards handlooms once again.
