Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao roped Samantha has the brand ambassador of Handlooms. Opposition Leaders criticized this move. Leaders like Shabbir Ali questioned, 'Why Samantha? Hasn't KCR found any Telanganite capable of endorsing Handlooms?'.
Now, Samantha has shut the mouths of all the critics at once. Without prior intimation, The Top League Actress visited Dubbaka in Siddipet district to meet the Handloom Weavers. She spent a good amount of time interacting with the Weavers & came to know about the hardships they face. Before leaving, Samantha promised to do everything she can for increasing the sales of handloom products. She even gave an assurance on obtaining bulk orders from within the state and other parts of the country.
In a similar manner, Samantha would be touring other Districts of Telangana where handloom weavers are big in number. Seems like, Good Days have finally arrived for the weavers!
