Samantha Was Not My Choice, Says Naga Chaitanya

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Samantha acted together in the film Majili, directed by Shiva Nirvana. The film marks the reunion of Chay and Sam for the first time after their wedding. There are a lot of expectations on this project as the lead pair already scored multiple hits in the past. Naga Chaitanya and Samantha are busy with the post-release promotions now.
A lot of people genuinely doubted if Naga Chaitanya only recommended Samantha's name for the heroine's role in the film but Chay made it clear on the same. Naga Chaitanya confirmed that Samantha coming on board is completely the decision of the director.
"I did not recommend Samantha's name for the project. I do not have any say in it. When the director narrated the story to me, he felt that Sam would be the perfect choice for the role and he approached her." said Naga Chaitanya.
The film is hitting the screens tomorrow.
