Sampoornesh Babu is so popular among the Telugu Audience that he needs no introduction at all. He created sensation with his first film 'Hrudaya Kaleyam' in the social media and became popular. Even though he achieved success in the film industry, he revealed that several people abused him with foul language. Sampoo revealed that he used to work in a gold shop before becoming a hero. He said that he is using the same mobile number till now.

He revealed that many people used to call him after the release of 'Hrudaya Kaleyam' and abuse him with foul language by asking "How come you are a hero ?". Sampoo added that "That's the reason why I don't pick up the calls from a new number even now. I have never reacted to these calls except disconnecting the call. I already know that I need to face this kind of abuses even before acting in 'Hrudaya Kaleyam' movie."

"When I was working in a gold shop in Sircilla, I used to come to Hyderabad in search of opportunities. I got an opportunity in 'Mahatma'. I got acquainted with Rajesh later. He called me up one day and said that.. 'I want to make a waste film with a waste hero.. people will abuse after watching the film. I have already narrated the story to others.. they didn't like it. You think about it'.. I got a shock of my life. I told him I'll follow whatever he says.. that is Hrudaya Kaleyam."
