Nikhil Siddhartha, proved himself with Happy days but had to go through a lean patch after that as his movie flopped at the box office. He turned the tide around with Swamy Ra Ra and even his recent film, Keshava proved to be a winner for him.
Now, he decided to go with a remake and he is doing the rehashed version of Kannada Blockbuster, Kirik Party in Telugu. Kannada movie is one of the biggest hits and it collected more than 50 crores at the box office. Sharan Koppisetty is directing this Campus romance. The team selected the actresses who acted in the original movie, Rashmika Mandanna and Samyuktha Hedge. As the roles are strongly written and both performed very well, the team did not want to change them. Directors and close friends of Nikhil, Chandu Mondeti and Sudheer Verma are working on the script of this movie to induce some nativity changes and betterments on the original.

The movie regular shooting will start in October after his marriage.
