Kannada movie Kirik Party became a blockbuster in Sandalwood. Young hero Nikhil remade the movie in Telugu as Kirrak Party. Samyuktha Hegde and Simran Parinja debuted into Tollywood with this film. As the movie is a blockbuster in Kannada, these heroines expected the same fate in Telugu as well.
But Kirrak party stood as an average movie at the box office. So the industry ignored both Samyuktha and Simran.
