Some times unexpected small budget movies bring fortunes to the makers. We have witnessed so many small movies which came out with no expectations but turned out to be blockbusters. The only factor is that the story must impress the audience. If the audience gets connected to the movie, then they would be super hits without a doubt.
Recently a Kannada film also impressed the movie-goers greatly. The movie is a campus romantic comedy "Kirik Party" which was made with the lowest budget of Rs. 4 crores. The film grossed Rs. 50 crores collections at the box office. Now Tollywood hero Nikhil is getting ready to remake that movie in Telugu. The makers considered Samyuktha Hedge who played the female lead in Kannada version to play the same role in Telugu too. Nikhil also stated that she was the only girl that came to his mind when thinking about the engineering girl Arya's role. That's why the makers roped in Samyuktha to play her role in Telugu version too. Samyuktha started her career as a dancer and even performed in so many dance shows. As she was getting movie offers, she joined the acting field. In the first half of the film, Rashmika Mandanna will be the main lead and Samyuktha makes her entry in the second half based on the story.
As per the latest buzz, the makers are modifying the script to impress the Telugu audience. Sudheer Varma and Chandu Mondeti are helping Nikhil on this. It seems that a debutant director is going to direct this film. The official details will be announced soon.
