A few years back, Prabhas is just one of the star heroes in Tollywood. But he is a pan-Indian star now and the stakes are so high on his films. Directors are clear about what kind of films they want to make with Prabhas. Sandeep Reddy Vanga who rocked the nation with 'Arjun Reddy' and 'Kabir Singh' wanted to make a film with Prabhas. The project was on the cards but it got cancelled unexpectedly.
Sandeep created a sensation with his debut film and a lot of producers as well as star heroes are interested in working with him. He was supposed to work with a few stars but the chances slipped away. A film with Prabhas is one such scenario where the hero was reportedly impressed with the story but it was turned down.
Prabhas wants to make films that have an universal appeal and Sandeep Reddy's film reportedly didn't fit in that criteria which is why Prabhas lined up 'Aadhipurush' with Om Raut.
Sources say that Sandeep Reddy is now back to his friend and 'Arjun Reddy' hero Vijay Devarakonda. They may soon team up again once Vijay finishes his current commitments.
