Bollywood actress Sangeeta Bijlani is popular among the 80's 90's audience. She was Miss India 1980 winner and entered films later. She went on to do several Hindi films. Her love affair with former Indian cricket team captain and subsequent marriage was widely publicised then. She parted ways with Azhar after nearly two decades and she is staying single now. In a recent interview, she has spoken about Azhar and films.
She revealed that she is still in touch with Azhar even though she has been separated from him. When she was asked about Azhar biopic she said that there are several mistakes in the film. She said Nargis Fakhri is a bad choice for her role. She opined that Kareena Kapoor would have done justice to her role than Nargis. She said real facts are distorted in the film.. and the scene which shows her meeting with Azhar is completely false.
She said that the audience who watched the film will remember only match fixing case of Azhar. When she was asked about the films she liked in the recent past she said that "I loved Pink and English Vinglish". She has revealed another interesting thing that whenever she gets free time she loves to meditate.
