Star Director interested in 'Manam' Hindi remake

The news was revealed by film director Vikram Kular in a recent interview. Vikram who is busy with promotions of Suriya's 24 movie said that he had initially planned to remake the film in Tamil with Suriya family in lead roles. Vikram said the project did not goes as planned and he ended up directing 24 with the star.
"I had met Bhansali recently in Mumbai and he has expressed interest to remake the film in Hindi under his production. He was impressed with the film concept" Vikram told adding nothing has been confirmed yet.
Written and directed by Vikram Kumar, "Manam" is a box office success and critically acclaimed by critics and movie lovers. Manam film deals with the concept of rebirth and eternal love.
Recently, there were reports that Bhansali will be directing the remake of SS Rajamouli's 2009 blockbuster Magadheers but Bhansali has denied them.
