'Baahubali: The Beginning' has increased the standards of Indian Cinema. Especially, The war field sequences were on par with any of the Hollywood period films. For Part 2, Rajamouli made sure action episodes were even bigger to meet the humongous expectations.
Bollywood & Kollywood Filmmakers were continuously trying to reach the benchmark set by SS Rajamouli. While 'Bajirao Mastani' succeeded partly, 'Puli' has bitten the dust. Still, Some of the promising directors haven't given up.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali of 'Devdas', 'Ram Leela' and 'Bajirao Mastani' fame will soon begin the shoot of his prestigious project 'Padmavathi'. The filmmaker wants this movie to be ahead of 'Baahubali' in terms of action part and visual effects. A mammoth budget has been allotted for this period drama which is high on romance and action. Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor will be playing leads. Can Bhansali succeed in this mission?
