2018 Highest Day 1 Collections Record

As expected, Openings of Sanjay Dutt's biopic 'Sanju' were humongous. Crazy Combination, Wide Release, Fantastic Reviews and Word-of-Mouth translated into huge revenue at the Box Office.
Day 1 Revenue of 'Sanju' in India - Rs 34.75 crore (Highest Opening Day Revenue in 2018 so far). It has even surpassed the Day 1 revenue of the recently released 'Race 3' starring Salman Khan.
While 'Sanju' emerged as No.1 in Day 1 collections, 'Race 3' (Rs 29 crore), 'Baaghi 2' (Rs 25 crore) and 'Padmavathi' (Rs 20 crore) are at 2nd, 3rd & 4th spots respectively. This is the biggest opener for Ranbir Kapoor and his hardwork has finally paid off. Once again, Rajkumar Hirani proved he is a genius. Sanjay Dutt can't be ask for anything more after witnessing overwhelming response for his biopic.
Trade Pundits expect 'Sanju' to gross over Rs 300 crore in the Domestic Market by the end of its full run.
