This is the biggest first-day record for 2018. It has crossed the opening day collections of 'Race-3'(Rs.29 crores).. 'Baaghi-2'(Rs.25 crores).. 'Padmaavat'(Rs.20 crores).
Apart from the collections, the movie evoked mixed responses from the audience and critics. While reviewers felt that the movie has conveniently ignored the mistakes of Sanjay Dutt and put the blame for his every mistake on the situations and other persons.
