Sanju Mini Review - A Masterpiece!
By: Tupaki Desk | 29 Jun 2018 8:55 PM ISTWho else better than Rajkumar Hirani could narrate a story in a most compelling manner? After all, He is the one who created memorable films like PK, 3 Idiots & Munnabhai Franchise. Yes, Rajkumar Hirani has hit the bull's eye yet again and this time with Sanjay Dutt's biopic 'Sanju'.
The Biopic opens with Supreme Court's verdict of 1993 Mumbai Blasts Sanjay Dutt. Then, Movie takes the viewers to flashback when Sanjay made a grand debut in Bollywood with 'Rocky' (1981) when his mom Nargis was battling the last stage of pancreatic cancer. How Sanjay got addicted to drugs after the death of his Mother is being shown? All the attempts made to quit the addiction goes in vain and he undergoes rehabilitation in US. Later, Sanjay's lover Tina Munim marries a Businessman. Sanjay runs away from rehab and comeback after one-and-a-half year to get fit. Experiences of Sanjay Dutt in Yerwada Central Prison have been shown in the second half. Few hard-hitting scenes in this episode were shot very well. Focus is on showing how much he had gone through during this phase. Movie ends on a happy note. Song featuring Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor in the end credits is icing on the cake.
Nobody else could have done better job than Ranbir Kapoor. This Finest Actor looked and behaved like Sanjay in every frame. All the Actors have done a good job.
Humorous Narration, Captivation Dialogues & High Dose of Emotions worked big time. Many a times the role of media which craves for sensationalism has been highlighted only to establish all that's been reported can't be truth.
'Sanju' isn't only going to be a biggest hit in Ranbir's career, but also one of the Top 5 highest grossers ever in Indian Film History. Sky is the limit for a film which garners terrific reviews & fantastic word-of-mouth. This Masterpiece should be you choice this weekend!
