Tollywood had a dry spell during the end of 2019 but films like 'Venky Mama' and 'Prathi Roju Pandage' breathed life into it. After that, the Sankranti season set the cash registers ringing as star heroes like Mahesh and Allu Arjun locked horns with each other along with few other films. The theatres were completely packed during the festival time and everything went great.
But the competition led to an exaggeration of collections which created confusion. Films like 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' and 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' are claiming that they created non-Baahubali records even before its first-week run. As per trusted sources, none of the films reached the breakeven mark till now and may cross it in the next two days. How can films create non-Baahubali even before touching breakeven? As 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' was sold for much higher rates, chances are that Allu Arjun's film may reach the breakeven mark first.
