Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' has not only become a blockbuster in India but it has thoroughly impressed Chinese audience as well. The movie went on to cross the worldwide collections of 'Baahubali' later. It is known that Aamir Khan played the father of teenage daughters.
Aamir Khan trains two of his daughters as wrestlers in the film. Sanya Malhotra is the younger daughter whom Aamir trains as a wrestler. She received good applause for her role in the film. She took a brief gap after the success of 'Dangal' but she is coming up with two films and they are releasing this year. It is interesting to see that both films belong to the different genre. The first film is 'Pataakhaa' directed by Vishal Bharadwaj. The theme of this film revolves around two sisters.. how their lives changed after the marriage. Sanya has put on some weight to act in this film.
Sanya's second film is 'Badhaai Ho' and it is slated for the release in the Dussehra season. Ayushmann Khurrana of 'Vicky Donor' fame is the hero of this film. Sanya is playing the role of a modern girl in the movie. When she was asked how is she managing two films, she gave a funny answer "It's not that difficult because there is no need to do any wrestling!"
