Writer drags Srimanthudu Team to Court

'Srimanthudu' Team received the shock of their life with a Writer claiming that the story of the movie was actually penned by him but not Koratala Siva.
Writer Sarath Chandra filed a petition in City Civil Court accusing 'Srimanthudu' is based on the novel written by him. He also states his story was published in Swathi weekly in the year 2012.
The Writer now accuses Mythri Movies of copies his creation to make a film like 'Srimanthudu'. Senior Lawyers VR Machavaram and Pawan Sivakumar appear for Mr. Sarath Chandra in the court.
Petitioner sought a stay order on the remake of 'Srimanthudu' in other Industries. Notices were issued by court to Koratala Siva, Producer Naveen and Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan who is likely to star in the Hindi remake.
'Srimanthudu' became a sensational hit and Mahesh Babu's biggest grosser till date. No one could guess why Sarath Chandra waited for so many months after the release to file a case?
