'Sarkar', a political-backdrop flick in the deadly combination of Vijay & AR Murugadoss, is all set for release on November 6th. Vallabhaneni Ashok acquired the Telugu Theatrical Rights of this biggie for a decent price. He was able to sell the rights to distributors for a whooping Rs 7.5 crore in Telugu States.
None of the films starring Vijay managed to collect anything more than Rs 5 crore share in Telugu States till date. And now, The target for break-even is Rs 7.5 crore.
Few more new releases arriving in the next one week complicate the situation. While 'Savyasachi' releases on November 2nd, 'Thugs Of Hinduston', 'Adhugo' and 'Roshagadu' arrive for Diwali weekend.
Theatrical Trailer of 'Sarkar' looked promising. Telugu People might connect well with the flick as the election fever is gripping Telangana and AP.
