Due to the ongoing pandemic, many biggies have opted digital release as releasing movies on big screens is not going to be a reality anytime soon.
More and more films across the country are now queuing for direct digital release skipping the traditional theatrical release.
As of now, Keerthi Suresh's Penguin got released and one more film of the actress is gearing up to premiere on OTT platform. Now, one more star actress' film is heading to digital release. However, this is not a recent flick. Arvind Swamy and Trisha's Sathuranga Vettai 2 release was halted due to various reasons.
According to sources, the Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital rights to the film. The release date of the film is going to be announced soon. Along with this, another Tamil film starring Trisha in the lead role is also on the verge of direct OTT release. More details regarding the same will be out soon.
